About Danny
I am a full-time gigging jazz pianist, born and bred in South-West London!
I have loved music ever since I started playing piano at the age of six, but in my teenage years I grew tired of the 'exam-obsessed' approach that my teacher forced upon me, and so I began my journey into jazz and improvisation. Through this journey I discovered that the key component to learning music (or anything for that matter!) is curiosity and engagement in the beautiful process of learning.
Since then my love for music has continuously expanded, and I have had the great honour to play at Glastonbury Festival, Isle of Wight Jazz Festival, Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, Brighton Moves Festival and Wireless Festival in Crystal Palace Park, and many others.
I am an avid composer and improviser, with frequent gigs around London, and I have a burning desire to share the joy and beauty of music with all those around me! Having a BMus Hons in Jazz Performance, I am now enjoying a life led by music!

Music should be a joy, not a chore!
My approach to teaching is always student-specific and I tailor our lessons to their curiosity and creativity!
Lessons are usually 1 hour in duration, and students can be any age and at any level, so long as they want to learn more about music!
I am a full-time professional jazz pianist, and have a Bachelor of Music with Honours degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
