About Rick
I have been teaching from when I was 17 years old, and thaught more than a hundred students, from 5 years old 'till 65 years old! I've trained a lot of students to go to conservatory and most of them ended up there as well.
I've also come from the conservatory in Rotterdam, named Codarts, so I have an advantage there for I know what they want to see in students.

My approach is to prepare the students for musical freedom in playing so that in the end, they don't need me in order to make the music they want in their own way!
The way I do this is to combine theory with practical playing, and really look at what is important for the student, instead of just giving assignments that don't really fit personally.
