About Gascon
I'm a 48-year-old male, native speaker of Spanish, with a degree in Linguistics, and over 25 years of experience teaching Spanish to foreigners. I've taught for 6 years for the Instituto Cervantes, then in private schools in Madrid, Tarragona and Valencia for 20 years. I have learnt foreign languages myself as an adult reaching perfection: I am fully aware of all the steps the adult mind makes when undertaking the challenge of learning a new language. My own experience learning languages as an adult up to mastering them to perfection is the model I set for my students with Spanish as their target.

Individual lessons, in person using a laptop or a computerized device to display scanned materials, web pages, and to use as a blackboard. The whole lesson typed, sent to the student after the class. If online, through a text chat application, advisable with audio, video optional. I correct every single mistake the student makes, in a non-invasive way. Optimal length, one hour and a half. I am a professional linguist, I've taught Spanish to foreigners for 25+ years. Experience in research, published author, a polyglot myself.
