About Ben
A recent Durham University graduate with a Masters in Maths, I am passionate about helping students to develop and building their skills. I have experience teaching small groups at degree level as well as individual tuition for exams. I have availability both for both weekdays and weekends.
When not tutoring, I run an explorer scout unit and enjoy reading fantasy books!

My sessions have a relaxed atmosphere, where students feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes. Sessions are tailored to the student, focusing on the areas they are struggling with, and moving at a pace which suits them. I aim to build both students' knowledge and confidence in parallel to enable them to reach their full potential.
Students spend most of the sessions answering questions chosen to address their needs and build their confidence through gradually handing over the lead to the student while answering questions.
