About Burak
Hello, I'm Burak Korkmaz.
As a conservatory graduate and an experienced ney performer, I provide personalised ney lessons for students of all levels. My teaching focuses not only on learning the instrument but also on developing proper breathing, tone production, musical expression, and a deep understanding of the rich tradition of Turkish Classical Music.
I combine the traditional Meşk (master-apprentice) method with modern teaching techniques to help students build a solid technical foundation while enjoying a structured and inspiring learning experience. Whether you are a complete beginner, an intermediate player, or an advanced musician looking to refine your skills, I will create a lesson plan tailored to your goals.
