Hi, you can call me Frederik or FRED! I am a university student studying Mathematics and Computer Science. I love reading, watching series, playing sports and making videos on Instagram and TikTok. My two years of tutoring experience as well as my Teaching English certification makes me MORE than qualified to tutor you. Hello! I am a trained tutor and offer classes for both English and Afrikaans. A typical lesson depends on the level of the student, but every class contains a short introduction which has some nice chatting, followed by a brief outline of the lesson. Next, there will be the teaching of the lesson material, a fun game or puzzle to check the student's understanding of the material they just covered and then repetition at the end. Finally, this is followed by some homework or practice examples and then goodbyes at the end of the lesson. Lessons are usually filled with LOTS of positive reinforcement and include topics of interest to the learner. This method helps to get them excited to learn and understand that having a tutor isn't to stop them from falling behind but rather to develop the skills and passion to jump ahead.
