About Hannah
I was brought up classically and graduated from Houston Christian University. I've been playing the piano for 29 years and teaching for 18 years. One of my favorite pieces to play on the piano is Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy. I love teaching others because I'm sharing something that is meant to be shared, and when it is received well it makes it that much more fulfilling. If I can inspire my students then it inspires me. I have a lot to offer my students when it comes to learning to play the piano. Not only is a strong foundation so important, but so is learning and playing music that you enjoy!

I use a classical approach when it comes to learning the piano--a strong musical foundation reaps a fruitful outcome. I instruct proper musical technique, learning all major and minor scales, chords and arpeggios, sight reading, pattern recognition, as well as music theory and music history. I specialize in classical music, but I teach all genres. I tailor my method of teaching according to the needs of the student.
