About Fabrizzio
Fabrizzio is a pianist with an extensive career marked by various achievements. He has received numerous awards at numerous piano competitions. As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras in Mexico and Costa Rica. Additionally, he maintains a dynamic presence in the classical music world in Mexico and, recently, in Canada, actively participating as a recitalist, chamber musician, and offering masterclasses. His debut recording, titled "Melodies of Life," is now available on streaming music platforms. This album includes works by Bach, Chopin, Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Ponce, Uematsu, among others. He has studied with renowned music figures such as Luca Chiantore, Claudia Corona, Alejandro Corona, Luis Ascot, Mauricio Náder, Jorge Luis Prats, Philippe Entremont, Grigory Gruzman, Sergei Kuznetsoff, Pablo Galdo, William Grant Naboré, Enrique Bagaría, Jacques Rouvier, Jérôme Granjon, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, and Michelle Cann. Recently, he was part of the Junior Jury of the prestigious Concours Musical International de Montréal 2024 in its piano edition. Fabrizzio Vargas's academic background includes a bachelor's and master's degree from the Faculty of Music at the Universidad Veracruzana, under the guidance of Luis Enrique León España and Patricia Castillo, where he also served as a collaborative pianist and professor. His constant quest to continue improving as a musician has taken him to Canada, where he is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in piano performance at the University of Montreal, under the mentorship of the renowned Canadian pianist and pedagogue Jimmy Brière.
