About Maya
I am a passionate piano tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages, including school beginners, college students, and working professionals. My teaching philosophy emphasises creating a nurturing, encouraging, and inspiring environment where students feel confident to explore music, develop their technical skills, and express themselves creatively.
I have guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them gain recognition for their talent, hard work, and dedication. My lessons focus on technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and expressive performance, all tailored to the student’s individual goals and learning style.
By combining structured practice with creative exercises, I aim to make learning piano both enjoyable and rewarding, while fostering confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.
