About Olobo
I'm Augustine, a professional saxophonist with a deep love for live performance and music education. Beyond playing, I've written a 15-chapter instructional book on tonic sol-fa, so helping students read, understand, and truly feel music is something I've spent real time thinking about. I bring that same structure and clarity to every lesson.
I teach because I love watching students discover their own sound. I'm patient, encouraging, and honest with feedback, and I keep lessons enjoyable so you stay motivated between sessions. Whether you're picking up the saxophone for the first time or returning after years away, I'll give you the guidance you need to keep improving.

My lessons are built around your goals, your pace and the music you love. We start with strong foundations: posture, breathing, embouchure and tone. Then we move quickly into real songs, sheet reading, ear training and, for more advanced players, improvisation and developing your own style. You leave every lesson with a clear practice plan for the week.
Lessons run 60 minutes (45 minutes for young beginners) and are available in person or online. I teach children, teens and adults at every level, from complete beginners picking up the saxophone for the first time to church, band and stage musicians looking to sharpen their sound.
