I believe that to have a complete grasp on any topic you need to master the nitty gritty details about it and those come with solid foundational understanding and constant practice. I like to teach on the principle of What, Why and How, that is what does a particular thing do, then I move to why do we need that and then we will explore how does it achieve its goal and once we have the answers to all this we will go on to do some hands on practice.
