About Anne
I am an experienced Spanish tutor with 9+ years of teaching High School and College students. Throughout my career, I have focused on creating personalised lessons that help every student succeed according to their individual needs and goals. I believe confidence grows when students receive patient guidance, practical instruction, and continuous encouragement.
My classes include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversation practice. I use a student-centred methodology for teaching Spanish that focuses on motivation, communication, creativity, and time management. I motivate students by creating a positive environment, understanding their goals, and celebrating their achievements to maintain engagement and confidence. Communication is central; I focus on helping students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in meaningful contexts.
Creativity is incorporated through storytelling, role-plays, games, and visual aids to make lessons interactive, fun, and memorable. Time management ensures lessons are structured and productive, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice efficiently.
I also guide learners on managing their study and practice time outside class for consistent improvement. In addition to Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar, pronunciation, and learning strategies. My goal is to provide a structured, enjoyable, and effective learning experience.
