About Humberto
Hello, I was born and bred in Sao Paulo - Brazil. I have a background in Tourism and Hospitality, however I have been teaching Portuguese since I decided to gain international experience and moved to Cape Town in 2013. Since then, I have helped several students to achieve their goals to strengthen their Portuguese skills. Micasa of Languages has been the company I worked for as a translator and tutor, however I also have private students. Speaking Portuguese will open so many doors to you. In Brazil alone we are more than 222 million speakers. I truly look forward to helping you achieve your goals on one of the most beautiful languages in the world.

I mostly teach adults and young professionals seeking to start learning Portuguese or either improve it. Learning a new language is supposed to be fun and meaningful to you, and even though grammar is important, it does not have to be boring. Expressing yourself in a clear and concise manner is the key for fluency and that is what we will be looking at, with lots of conversation. By having entertaining and interactive classes you will certainly achieve your goals more rapidly.
