About Amy
i have been an artist since my very young youth instead of being planted with an Atari in the early 80’s I was given PBS and Bob Ross and every art documentary so my parents could work cook and sleep. My love continued on through Junior high where upon I took all the art classes available before high school where upon I failed because I refused to follow the crowd and do the standard bowls of fruit or self-portraits. So I chose to leave my high school and attend a vocational school in commercial and graphic design. I learned a lot there and if was the middle of the 90’s and we were the rebels. Sure we created art and finished assignments but all this would become irrelevant due to the advances of computers and programs. So we did what 90’s rebels did best we lived in all our teenage angst got high and listened to iconic music and did everything else we pretty much wanted to it wasn't like it is today no one was recording every stupid thing we did. Then came adulthood jobs babies and responsibility. I didn’t go to college right away I waited until my 3rd child was 5 then I decided art school was for me. I am so happy I waited because by then my life was so planned from morning to bedtime it because the one thing that was from me and about me. I took every art class available and I enjoyed it so much that I earned my BFA Printmaking and mixed media. I have worked as a color tech, a graphic designer for metal home decor, a studio arts teacher. I have won awards and been in various shows across the country and internationally. I can recreate the Sistine Chapel or your favorite Pink Floyd Painting. I’ve built last minute dioramas and figured it out longer after the stores have closed. I make a kick ass Valentine’s Day box too. And I always have an open door policy to answer your questions :)

BFA DEANS LIST BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH THERE COMES A TIME WHEN YOU NO LONGER WISH SOMEONE TO TELL YOU TO DO SOMETHING AND STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS. In all likelihood if you’re reading this you have a passion for art. your money is tight. You weren’t inspired to do whatever project you were given. That’s ok I can help you make it a success overnight unless of course you’re doing portrait work. I don’t do bowls of fruit or royal families etc although I’m sure the pay can be better at times. Here you tell me your issues and projects and I will help you problem solve your way through it!!!!
