My approach is to recognize the "learning block" that is preventing the student from understanding a particular subject matter.
Then, I present the material in a format that matches the student's way of perceiving or learning. This removes the learning block, and thus, knowledge can be absorbed. I have seen only positive results with this method. I present solutions clearly, simply, and visually, and this is what sets me apart from other tutors and also keeps me in high demand by students of all ages and grade levels.
