Proofreading and feedback on essays, dissertations and other pieces of academic writing
Methodology
I will read through your piece of writing and I will send you back a copy of the text with my feedback on it in the form of track changes and comments.
We will then meet (if you wish) and discuss the most relevant points raised. You will have the chance to ask me questions and clarification on any aspect of the feedback.
Remember that this is supposed to be a positive and constructive experience for you and I will strive for it to be so!
Experience
I am a PhD student and I have been writing in English at academic level for many years. My writing experience spans from essays and dissertations to scientific/historical articles and through to project proposals.
I know very well how daunting writing can be, especially for foreign students and in time I have built experience in proofreading for undergraduate and master students as well as for peers.
I will offer detailed feedback on your academic writing and suggest ways to improve your style, grammar and essay building.
Rates
Details
I will charge you according to the length of your piece of writing at a rate of £8 every 1000 words. Face to face meetings, where we will discuss feedback and where you can ask me questions will have a flat fee of £10, regardless of their length! The first meeting is free of charge :)
