I like to adapt my lessons to the necessities and interests of my students. I basically design the programme of my classes according to what they want to learn (grammar, vocabulary, conversation, writing/reading comprehension, oral comprehension, reduction of accent, coloquial Spanish, official exams...) and according to their level (I teach from total beginners to almost natives!). I have several books, materials and websites that help me to build my lessons, altough I normally use materials that I designed by my own thinking on my students. Also, I love relating my lessons with cultural aspects of my country, as I totally belive that learning a language is also about learning a new culture. I'm quite friendly and easygoing, so I tend to end up being friends with my students :)
My name is Inés, I'm from Madrid and I'm an enthuthiastic of languages! I've been working as a Spanish teacher for four years now. I first started working as a tutor at Tufts&Skidmore Spain. This enterprise coordinates an exchange programme for undergrads belonging to Tufts University and Skidmore College (EE.UU) that come to study to Madrid. I have also worked as a private tutor, teaching Spanish, English and Italian to more than fifty students. Some months ago, I started also teaching through on-line platforms. I'm an enthuthiastic and friendly person, I love meeting new people and learning languages (so far, I've lived in four different countries: Spain, Holland, Italy and UK, where I'm currently living!). I speak four languages (Spanish, English, Italian and some French), so I totally empathise with the difficulties that learning a new language imply (thinking of founding the #SocietyOfVictimsOfLearningNewLanguages). My undergrad is in Psychology and I have two masters: one in Neuroscience and one in Philosophy. Most of my students like me quite much, but I guess you will have to judge by your own! :P I'm looking forward to meeting you! :)
Ines is a really good teacher as she is supportive and always creates a positive, friendly atmosphere. She looks out for every student and holds her lessons according to their needs and wishes.I would definitely recommend her!
Ines is the best teacher I could recommend. She’s always positive, always smiling, and very patient.
