My teaching method tends to be student-driven & follows an individualised approach. I will spend time with students to figure out what their key goals are, then collaborate on strategies & plans to achieve these. Depending on what these key goals are, tailor how lessons and student preparation are structured. For GCSE & A-Level students, these lessons will also be in line with the current curriculum so that students will have peace of mind that they're hitting the targets they want to.
As a tutor, I am approachable, patient & adept in relating complex course materials in a way that students can understand.
I am a Psychology PhD researcher (MSc Clinical & Health Psychology; BA Hons Psychology 1st Class) offering lessons & support to GCSE, A-Level & undergraduate Psychology students. This includes help in understanding course content & concepts, how to prepare for exams, essay/report writing skills, & general academic skills to help students achieve their best possible grade.
I have 4+ years experience of teaching at undergraduate level, from 1st year to finalist modules. In that time I have taught 500+ students. I have been nominated for teaching awards during this period because of my student engagement & commitment to helping students boost their academic capability.
