About Juyan
I prefer giving a kind push and having patience when teaching concepts to others, and I don't think being harsh or condescending actually allows students to learn. I like having a professional relationship with my students, making them feel at home and engaged in learning. I am not a fan of repetition, and I would rather try to explain in a way that would make more sense to you, instead of cramming the same information into your head.

The only way to learn and remember material is to be engaged. I am currently a 4.0 GPA student finishing my bachelors to pursue a masters in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in assessment and diagnosis. If this sounds appealing to you and you see yourself becoming successful academically but lack the motivation to simplify the courses, I would be more than happy to teach and simplify Psychological/Statistical concepts. A typical lesson involves going over main concepts in the textbook, reviewing lecture slides, and trying to better understand what the theories actually mean instead of just memorizing the names. Tutoring is only successful if the tutor themselves are passionate about what they do, and I am. My classes can be offered from students just beginning high school up until the third year of University.
