About Star
I've played saxophone since elementary school, honing my musical skills over the years. Additionally, I've dedicated five years to learning Mandarin, delving into language and culture. Over four years, I've also served as a tutor, guiding multiple students to academic success. Through my diverse experiences, I've cultivated patience, adaptability, and a passion for both music and language, making me an effective and dedicated mentor.

As a tutor, I prioritize student-centered learning, adapting my approach to cater to individual needs and preferences. My teaching method involves a blend of visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive activities to engage students and reinforce understanding. Each lesson typically begins with a review of previous concepts, followed by clear explanations and opportunities for active participation through discussions and problem-solving exercises. I provide ongoing feedback and encouragement, fostering confidence and critical thinking skills. What sets me apart is my dedication to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and express themselves. My tutoring services are geared towards students at various academic levels, particularly those studying psychology or related fields. Whether it's exam preparation, understanding complex theories, or enhancing research skills, I offer personalized guidance to help students succeed in their academic endeavors.
