About Fareena
Hi, I’m a postgraduate in Psychology from Jamia Millia Islamia, with an Advanced Diploma in Guidance & Counseling from the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development. I am also certified in Trauma-Informed Therapy and Play Therapy, and have 3 years of experience working as a therapist with children, adolescents, and adults. After 3 years of working as a therapist and mentoring school and college students, I’ve seen how the current psychology curriculum often lacks connection between theory and real-life practice. Psychology is a deeply practical subject, and to become a skilled mental health professional, you need more than just textbook knowledge - you need strong concepts, applied understanding, and critical thinking. I aim to foster these skills.
