About Angus Robert Owen
I am a qualified British teacher with international teaching experience across Europe and Asia. I currently teach AP Psychology and AP English Language and Composition.
I hold a BSc in Sociology, an MSc in Applied Quantitative Methods, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
My academic background in social sciences and quantitative research allows me to bring a strong understanding of research methods, psychological concepts, and scientific reasoning into my teaching.
As a current AP Psychology teacher, I understand the demands of the College Board curriculum and the skills students need to succeed in the examination.
I aim to create a supportive, engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, challenging ideas, and developing a genuine interest in psychology.

-Understanding psychological theories, concepts and research
-Applying psychological knowledge to examination questions
-Developing effective revision and examination strategies
-Personalised feedback to target areas for improvement
I believe psychology should be engaging, accessible and relevant to everyday life. My teaching approach combines clear explanations, real-world examples and structured examination practice to help students develop both confidence and academic skills.
