About May
🟢 Struggling to move from IELTS Band 6 to 7 — or feeling stuck despite self-study?
You’re not alone. Many learners don’t lack English ability — they lack the right strategy, structure, and targeted feedback.
I’m May Huynh, an IELTS Band 8 scorer with 2 years of IELTS teaching experience, and I specialize in helping students break through score plateaus and reach their target bands efficiently.
With over 5 years of professional experience in Australia and 8+ years studying and living abroad, I bring not just test knowledge, but real-world English — especially in academic and business contexts — as well as first-hand experience taking these exams as an international student and worker.
🟢 How I Help You Improve
My teaching approach is:
Structured and goal-driven
Personalized to your current level
Focused on real exam performance
We don’t just “practice English” — we:
Identify exactly where you’re losing marks
Apply proven frameworks for Speaking & Writing
Build confidence through exam-style practice
Track measurable progress
🟢 What Makes Me Different
IELTS Band 8 scorer
PTE Academic perfect score (90-90-90-90)
2+ years coaching IELTS students
5+ years working in Australia (business & professional communication)
Vietnamese native speaker — strong understanding of tonal language learners
If you’re from a tonal language background or a migrant/international student yourself, I understand your challenges deeply and can guide you more effectively.
