About Yihang
Teaching is more than a job to me; it’s a calling. I wasn’t always a model student, but thanks to the teachers who never gave up on me, I’m able to stand here today. I believe that everyone has unique capabilities, and while academics can lead to success, it’s never the only path. As a recent graduate and Gen Z, I understand the struggles students face today—especially the challenge of staying motivated and finding direction in their studies.
Over the past two years, I've dedicated my spare time to teaching English, Math, and Geography to secondary school students. By connecting textbook knowledge with real-world events and current news, I create a classroom that’s lively, engaging, and supportive. I believe that knowledge is power, but sharing knowledge is what unlocks that power and builds confidence.
I’m here to inspire students to find joy and purpose in learning, empowering them to shape their own paths and face the future with confidence. Together, let’s unlock potential and make learning an adventure.

I prefer combining real world events, news, and knowledge from other fields into the class to equip students with practical knowledge. It helps connecting knowledge on book to real world, and students won't feel isolated when studying.
My classes typically last 60-90 minutes.
I am a graduate in public administration from UTAR, focusing on study of public policy, law, management, etc. My language skills were well trained to understand obscure and complex text in government documents, in both English and Bahasa. I also have experience as an online tutor teaching English, Math, and Geography to form 2 and form 5 students.
My lesson is available for secondary level or pre-u level students.
