About Joshua
I have worked for over 20 years in Communications, PR, Campaigns, local and federal government for elected officials as well as running my own small business PR and Media booking firm for the past 11 years. Looking forward to teaching and tutoring students, no matter where they are from in the world to better understand English, writing, literature and the cultures and approaches of the countries I've lived in and visited from my own vantage, as well as learning yours.

I like using real-world English, videos, music, movies, and books/literature to teach my students in whatever way they find interesting. I communicate for a living so I teach my clients to speak and writing is also a big part of my job as well as a Public Relations professional working in the media and communications industry. I look forward to working with you. I've also worked for a couple of Members of Congress in the past, as well as a City Councilman, taught for a year, worked offshore on oil rigs and on land in a refinery in the past as well. I've worked on campaigns and elections and for a think tank, and advocacy group, and a digital media firm in the past so I have lots of interesting experience that influences my teaching style and method.
