About Michael
I have extensive experience as a mentor. I am an experienced writer who has been published in the FT, Granta, The Guardian, Tate magazine and many similar titles. My work ranges from memoir to essay, to features and reviews. In photography, my experience ranges from fine art monographs to national magazines, from lectures at Harvard to community workshops. My own photographs are in various museum collections. I am known as an inspiring teacher of photography.

Essay and dissertations writing: I can teach and guide you how to write in an eloquent, compelling and informative way without any stress. My approach is simple and clear, and always delivers excellent results - and eliminates any anxiety. I can work with any humanities student. Photography: I am the author of a new book about the meaning of photography, and am the subject of six monographs, and have experience teaching from MA level to O level. My approach demystifies photography and empowers the student to create photographs that are accomplished and idiosyncratic. I can guide students through specific challenges, address set themes, and draw on relevant and inspiring examples from the history of photography.
