About Brandyce

I'm a writer who loves to help others find their voice. I have a Master's degree in Liberal Arts (with a focus on creative writing) from St. Edward's University. I've tutored everyone from elementary school to college and beyond. My poems have appeared in The Esthetic Apostle, Cathexis Northwest Press, OxMag, and elsewhere.

I love to start with a poet or style that you're interested in understanding or grasping more so you can incorporate this style into your own writing voice.
I love coming up with creative writing prompts that work for you.
I aim to listen to your needs and gauge your pace and creative processes.
I'm well-steeped in the following styles of poetry: dark and brooding, waka (Japanese tanka and haiku), stream-of-consciousness, beat, limerick, ballads, pastoral, humor/satire, free-verse, and E.E. Cummings (yes, he gets a category all to himself).
