About Gavin
Hello! My name is Gavin and I’m an English tutor with a passion for helping learners build confidence and fluency in the language. I have 10 years of experience teaching English to teens at beginner levels, both in-person and online. My approach is student-centered, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s goals — whether it’s improving grammar, expanding vocabulary, enhancing speaking skills, or preparing for exams like IELTS, TOEFL, or school assessments. I believe in creating a supportive, fun, and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I use a variety of materials and methods, including conversation practice, real-life scenarios, games, writing tasks, and multimedia resources.
