About Farhan
As a Pure Mathematics Graduate, I find that Maths comes naturally to me. As a result, I am able to understand and explain difficult concepts to students in multiple ways which they will be able to comprehend.
I take pride in ensuring that the student feel comfortable and free to speak up whenever they like during the lesson. An interactive lesson where the student is able to stop and ask questions at any point is one of the best ways to erase any misconceptions and gaps within their knowledge.

My teaching technique consists of delivering an interactive lesson of around 45-50 minutes with a 10 minutes break to allow the student to rest and recharge.
Within the 50 minutes, the student will be taught a topic and tested on multiple questions aimed to target the nuances and variations which student fail to notice in the exam questions.
By the end of the lesson, I will set homework for the student and send a PDF document of all the notes and questions which were covered in the lesson to their email address. This allows the student to check the notes if needed, to aid with their homework.
I use an iPad and Apple pencil to make the lesson interactive and screen share my iPad screen so that the student is able to see everything that is being taught in the lesson and ask any questions.
Due to limited time availability, I am only able to tutor a few students. However, as per my past record with over 8 years of tutoring experience in classrooms and privately, I have taken on students who were achieving Grade 5/6 in Mathematics and have been able to help them achieve Grade 8/9 within a year's time.
