About Yvonne

I have taught Maths and English in schools (some adult education) for 30 years and taught several pupils privately face-to-face one-to-one for 20 years. I have a diploma from Dyslexia Action in Dyscalculia and BA Hons in Maths and Arts from the Open University.

About the lesson

My teaching method is to inspire confidence in the individual learner. I follow the modern approach of student-centred learning by aiming to quickly assess the level and needs of the person, helping them develop to their full potential and reach their goals as well as enjoying the study of the subject.

Yvonne Grigg is a very experienced tutor. I first met her 25 years ago when she worked with both my children, proving to be exceptionally sympathetic and encouraging. I also count her as a valued colleague. As a tutor myself, I have great respect for Yvonne's knowledge & understanding & have been pleased to refer clients to her for support with GCSE maths.
