About Savri

I am currently a Master's student at UCL studying Global Health and Development and have a BSc in Medical Physiology from the University of Leicester. I started tutoring at Westcliff High School for Girls, where I juggled 4 A levels with EPQ with hobbies such as embroidery and painting. The most valuable skill I learnt from my degree was the ability to adapt to study most effectively and efficiently. I would love to help other students do the same.

About the lesson

My lessons would typically be an hour long and would include: - asking the students to list their weakest topic areas - introducing students to concepts with a fresh perspective - engaging students with past paper questions and quizzes - enhancing long-term memory with consistent active recall I have over 3 years of tutoring experience and have helped many students to significantly increase their levels of confidence in a range of subject areas. Children from primary school also welcome if fundamental numeracy/literacy skills need assistance.

Perfect! We are so impressed by how prepared Sawri shows up for each lesson with Lisa. With a plan for what to focus on and a clear idea of outcome. I can’t recommend her enough. She is an excellent teacher and knows how to keep a teenager engaged, concentrated and motivated.

Savri's response
Lisa is a hard-working student who has made great progress within the past few months with her Maths core topics. I am in awe of her consistent efforts and resilience throughout the year.

Perfect! So far so good, although I have only had one lesson with Savri, it has been amazing, she is incredibly and I have already learnt so much just from one lesson!

Over the past year, Savri has aided my son in his English Literature GSCE, helping him to approach the subject in a new way. Originally, he struggled in the subject, and disliked it, almost to the point where he wanted to drop English Literature. However, after some research online, we found Savri here on Superprof. She taught my son to look at the subject in a new view (his words, NOT mine), and after a month he was coming to me and saying he changed his mind! Best of all, he achieved an A* in his GCSE. I would happily recommend Savri to anyone who needs help with their GSCEs, as she's always got a smile on her face which lights up my day. Thank YOU!

Our daughter needed some extra tuition to help with her GCSE Science, and Savri was exceptional! She tailored each lesson to our daughter’s individual needs and brought a whole new level of excitement and enthusiasm to the subject. This approach really motivated our daughter. Savri’s structured lessons, combined with additional exam preparation, truly turned things around. On results day, GCSE Science ended up being our daughter’s best grade. We would highly recommend Savri!
