About Steve
Graduating with First Class Honours in English Literature from Newcastle University, I later taught 'A' Level English Literature in Oxford as well as English as a Foreign Language. My career has involved periods spent in a variety of artistic fields including Music, working as Performance Secretary at the University of Oxford, and the visual arts, with an MA in Fine Art and nearly twenty years' practice as a graphic designer. I believe this varied experience has deepened and developed my understanding of culture in general and this has fed back most positively into my appreciation and understanding of Literature. Most recently I made the decision to return to teaching and took the Level 3 Diploma in Education and Training, as preparation to tutor in the post-16 sector.
