I prefer teaching on a corporate level, small company's staff groups keen to learn Spanish. I try to keep my lesson's structure simple and clear:
1. Casual opening.
2. Establish a subject which most people have heard about, such as trending news (non political).
3. Short description of the chosen subject, involving special vocabulary.
4. Ask students for feedback on the subject, after giving specific guidelines or questions and time to prepare.
5. Reinforce vocabulary through sentence construction (grammar).
6. Assign a theme for next week.

Most recently I have worked in the Guatemalan Sports Federations Office, were I improved my marketing skills on social media and digital promotions through the official website which was under my management. Shortly after, I started an online business with a friend back in Guatemala, The Flower Girls.
The Flower Girls is a flower arranging and event decoration company which sells through social media exclusively, with attractive digital displays and understanding of the market we accomplished more than 40k genuine likes and it became a successful company.
I am a highly-motivated person, with a keen eye for creativity and I should be very grateful for the opportunity to work in your company. I have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of it.

The Flower Girls
2013 - 2015
The Flower Girls was a side project started with a friend of mine that grew into a successful start-up florist. Beginning on Valentine’s Day 2013, we sold custom made shabby-chic bouquets ordered via Facebook and delivered by to customer’s addresses.
This project helped me develop marketing and communications skills on social media, content creation in working with a photographer and helped me understand the power of digital branding. Most importantly though it helped me develop my customer relationship skills, communicating with potential buyers via social media, email and on the phone.
We closed each sale with a delivery of the bouquet to the customer’s house or office with a positive friendly service to encourage repeat business.
Guatemalan Sports Federation Office – CDAG (in spanish)
2013 - 2015
My most recent position was in the Marketing Department in The Guatemalan Sports Federation Office, in here we used to work together hand by hand with the National Olympic Committee. The role involved different tasks amongst the main ones were, design and updating of the official website (concealed information) and social networks, design and space layout of marketing campaigns aiming to promote sports at a national level.
The job required working with graphic designers, photographers and video staff and Olympic and Paralympic athletes, in order to create new strategies to gain the interest of the general public in national sports events, such as marathons, tournaments and fairs.
I led on commissioning a team of local streets artists to decorate areas around the Olympic Stadium with colourful vibrant murals. This project helped raise awareness of some of the cities local sports facilities (that are often neglected in favour of private gyms) and restore a sense of local pride in the area.
2013 - 2015
During my first summer in the UK I worked at an Oxfam shop in Bramhall, Stockport in a customer facing role. This job involved dealing with members of the public, stock taking, window dressing and communicating with the rest of the shop team to ensure everyone was able to cover each shift with ample notice.
I loved working at Oxfam. It’s a great enterprise, despite some of the negative publicity recently and still maintain good relations with my former colleagues there.
2008 - 2012
Designer and Marketing Manager
In Architecture was a Guatemalan small architectural and design company that focused on developing retail and business spaces.
Along with a group of contractors, graphic designers and drafters, my job was creating new marketing proposals to engage with new customers that were in need of improvement space or a brand new design.
One of my most important tasks was developing the customer’s brand and business needs in an architectural projection, which included design and function of each space adequate for its specific market segment.
Since it was a small company I gained many experienced in one-on-one customer service. I was involved in each project 100%, since initial meetings with the customer up to the developing and execution of the design.

My grandmother taught me how to sew at a young age and I have always enjoyed working with fabric.
I enjoy watercolours of cityscapes and buildings. I especially enjoy the combination of the discipline of architectural design with the expressive nature of the watercolour brush stroke.
