About Tim

I have over 30 years international experience in bars and restaurants dealing with foreign customers and working with and training staff who do not speak English as a first language.

I am also a single father to a 19-year-old son so I consider my level of communication (and patience and understanding) to be very high.

I also run my own business single-handedly so my level of professionalism is also very high.

It is very important to me that my students enjoy their lessons, it's a top priority.

I believe learning English should be fun! When you enjoy your lessons, you feel more confident, stay motivated and learn more easily.

My lessons are friendly, practical and interactive. We use role plays, speaking activities and reading and writing exercises to help you improve your English. You will practise using English in real-life situations that are useful in your everyday life.

Lessons last 60 minutes, depending on your needs and goals.

We can also use music, movies, books and topics that interest you. This makes learning more enjoyable and helps you use your English in situations that matter to you.

Who Are My Lessons For?

I am looking for students who want to improve their English for one of two main reasons:

Business English

Would you like to improve your career opportunities? I can help you develop the English skills you need to communicate confidently at work, apply for better jobs and work towards a higher salary.

Everyday English

Do you live in an English-speaking country and want to feel more comfortable speaking English? I can help you communicate more confidently in everyday situations, such as shopping, meeting new people, making friends and having conversations at work or in your community.

Let's make learning English enjoyable, practical and relevant to your life!
