* Over 20 years of experience as a registered and qualified teacher (with Enhanced DBS clearance). * With more than 15 years of experience working as a Team Leader and Exam Maker for the exam board. * I have developed a deep understanding of exam requirements and standards. * I have accumulated over eight years of experience in team-leading exams and overseeing assessment checking responsibilities, specifically in Computer Science and IT. * I have a proven track record of 10+ years in successful online tutoring, using platforms like Zoom and Collaboration software like OneNote. Each tutoring session is tailored to meet the learner's unique needs while providing parents with accessibility for monitoring progress and involvement in their child's learning journey.

About the lesson

I teach online using various interactive resources, from exam-specific quizzes to style questions (all command verbs!). I love using collaborative tools to edit and code in real-time, which students love. A lesson usually lasts one hour and is divided into a starter (quick reflection), primary (learn and do), plenary, and homework discussion. I am a UK-qualified teacher who has taught for over 15 years as an IT and Computer Science Teacher. I also work for most major exam boards, so I am very conversant with the exam approach. My recent MBA achievement shows I am as hungry to learn and be a student myself so that I can help others. I tutor only GCSE and A-Level. Get in touch.
