About Thai
I am currently reading for a Masters in Education at King’s College London, and was awarded QTS and PGCE Secondary English from Homerton College, University of Cambridge. Additionally, I have served as a teacher and Subject Lead at a school graded ‘Outstanding’ in teaching and leadership in a recent Ofsted inspection, as well as a 1-to-1 Support Tutor at an ‘Outstanding’ independent school - both in Cambridge.

Are you looking for an experienced English Literature and Language tutor for your child? Is your child neurodivergent and needs specialised support? Informed by my lived experience as an English teacher, tutor, and examiner with ADHD and dyspraxia, my tailored lesson plans help my students decode the formula of their English exams. I aim to create a warm, friendly, and supportive environment which helps build the confidence of my tutees and empowers them as they progress through their GCSE course. In our 1 hour sessions (though I am flexible based on individual student need), I will work with your child through a bespoke curriculum covering all the essential skills of English exams, including language analysis, essay planning and writing, and creative and transactional writing. I identify skills your child already has that I can both celebrate and strengthen. All of my tutoring sessions are grounded in research-based pedagogy and no two tutees ever receive exactly the same sessions from me as the sessions are adapted specifically to their needs.
