About Asiya
My name is Asiya and I want to teach at superprof because I genuinely enjoy seeing people succeed. I want to ignite the passion for writing in my students and help them on their journey to success. I would describe myself as funny, cheerful and energetic and I believe lessons should be memorable!
I have been tutoring for a number of years, privately and for different companies. My experience of tutoring has been great so far and it has made me want to continue. I love seeing the progress my students make and regularly monitor the progress of my students and push them by giving them extra resources, encouraging them verbally and modelling.

I believe lessons should be engaging and memorable. I love to model in the classroom and show students examples of excellent work. I believe every student has different needs and as a teacher, you need to find what works for your student.
My style of teaching tends to focus on building from the base. I see many students who lack a strong foundation which can affect their writing skills. For example, I might check a student's understanding of techniques for a starter activity on poetry and then try to see how well the student understands the effects these techniques have on the poem.
My lessons are for all ages but with a particular focus on Secondary Education as I have had more experience teaching at this level.
