About Sivalingum
My name is Santosh but you can call me Sans or Santy. I have a Diploma in Banking and a TEFL Level 5 diploma. I have worked in the retail sector, as a senior manager, for over 20 years.
I am passionate about teaching. I enjoy helping people grow and develop new skills or learn a new language. From experience I have learnt that with proper motivation the impossible can become possible and that success is not about luck, but about hard work, dedication and confidence in your own ability. This is what I aspire to bring out in my students, that is, give them the confidence to believe in themselves and in their own ability.
I am professional and provide a safe environment for my students, were mistakes are welcomed and encouraged, as a part of the learning process. My specialities are Conversational English and Business English.

I believe that learning should never be stressful, learning should be fun. My approach to teaching is unique, learning should be an experience not the mere absorption of information, that may or may not benefit you in the course of your life.
All students learn differently, I therefore tailor my lessons to meet each individual students needs. I prefer the 'FLIPPED' classroom method of teaching. In this way I can spend as much time as possible interacting and communicating with the student.
The props I use depend on the students learning style. They can be visual, audio or a task the student will engage in to ensure that they understand what's being taught.
My lessons are FUN, INTERESTING, INFORMATIVE & INTERACTIVE.
I am proficient in English and Afrikaans and can teach all levels.
