About Sarah
I have worked with the English language for over a decade, from being a journalist in London to teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to adult students (primarily in Hong Kong). I have also taught academic English, and I continue to work as a writer and editor.
I also offer copyediting and proofreading services, mostly for academic work. Please contact me for rates and details.

As a language learner myself, I find that the most effective way to learn a language is by speaking. Our sessions will be a safe space where you can practise your English conversation skills (and ask any questions about grammar or vocabulary you might have).
Depending on your needs, I'm happy to correct you as we speak, or to let the conversation flow as a way to practise listening and speaking. We can discuss specific topics you have in mind or make general conversation.
Sessions can be online or in person (Edinburgh) and are typically one hour long.
