I have known Verity, first as a student for several years, and now more recent years as a friend. She has the patience to work with me in learning French and is open to teaching that which interests me about the language; being the different tenses, grammar and writing! A teacher who customises her lessons!

I discovered Verity when I signed on for language lessons through Alliance Francaise in Queensland, as part of my employment requirements in West Africa. Over a period of three years my knowledge and confidence, in both the written and oral use of the French language, accelerated significantly. This was in no small part due to her structured, yet fun, teaching pattern; this was reinforced during one-on-one sessions, where lessons covered a range of topics from general conversation regarding aspects of culture, technical discussions and geography (both local to France as well as in the territorial regions around Africa). While some students are looking at the language as just a means to communicate, retaining a second language for me is extremely difficult without having the basics of grammar and sentence structure. I would not hesitate to recommend Verity to any professional groups looking for a cohort French language professional.

As a footnote, my employment has now taken me to South America, so I need to find a "Verity clone" to improve my Spanish!
