About James
I have been teaching for three years different scenarios. One year spent teaching English, Science and Geography in Hanoi, Vietnam. Last two years have been spent teaching secondary school geography with 30 in a class from years seven through thirteen. My professional development in my current role has been held to an 'outstanding' standard and OFSTED feedback showed my rapport with learners to be purposeful and enthusiastic.

My lesson are always aimed to make geography fun! It is my belief that engagement encourages progression. Moreover, engagement is attained through enjoyment of the subject. Another key aspect of my methodology is to build confidence and reinforce that failure is a stepping stone to success, not a hinderance. I use lots of challenging activities alongside high-level questioning, constructive feedback and my capability to adjust to the learners current level.
