About Adeel
I am an experienced and dedicated college lecturer with over ten years of success in education, specialising in Maths and Computing. I am passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential and take pride in creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where learners feel confident and motivated.
I currently teach Computing / Computer Science, Games Design & Programming, and Maths and Logic to students aged 14 and above. Through this, I have developed a strong understanding of how to engage learners of different abilities and backgrounds, adapting my teaching to suit individual needs.
I have a good academic background, including A-Level Maths and Computing, as well as a degree in Creative Media Technology. Alongside my subject knowledge, I have good communication skills and a clear, structured teaching style that helps students understand even the most challenging topics.
I am committed to professionalism, reliability, and high standards in every lesson. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence, independence, and long-term understanding.

My approach to tutoring is centred around building confidence, understanding, and independence in each student. I tailor each lesson to the individual, identifying strengths and areas for development to create a structured but flexible learning plan.
I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps, using clear explanations, real world examples, and guided practice. In Maths, this means developing strong problem-solving skills and exam techniques. In Computing and Computer Science, I combine theory with practical application to ensure students fully understand key concepts.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged where needed, especially in the lead up to exams. Each session is structured to include review, new learning, and practice, ensuring steady progress over time.
I have over ten years of experience working in education as a college lecturer, teaching Maths, Computing, Computer Science, and Games Programming to students aged 14 and above. I am familiar with the full GCSE Maths curriculum and have a strong academic background including A Level Maths and Computing, alongside a degree in Creative Media Technology.
My lessons are suitable for KS2, KS3, and KS4 students, whether they need support catching up, building confidence, or aiming for higher grades. I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to succeed.

I would really recomend Adeel for GCSE maths he was so good and helped me get my grade from a 2 to a 5 which I never thought Id be able to do.
