About Blessing
Hello! I am an experienced Science tutor and currently working with secondary students in a UK secondary school. I hold A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and have over a year of experience tutoring Year 7 to Year 11 in KS3 Science, GCSE Combined & Triple Science (AQA/Edexcel), and A-Level Psychology. I am Enhanced DBS checked with full safeguarding training and work with the British Curriculum daily. I specialise in simplifying complex topics, building confidence in students who feel behind, and teaching precise exam technique for 6 and 16-mark questions to help students move from Grade 4-5 to Grade 7-9 and achieve A/A* in Psychology. My tutoring is student-led and exam-focused using my Diagnose, Simplify, Apply method. I start with a quick baseline assessment against your exam board (AQA/Edexcel) to find gaps, then break down complex topics with simple visuals, real-life examples, and an interactive whiteboard. We immediately apply it to exam questions, focusing on 6-mark answers and mark scheme technique. Lessons: 60 mins standard (90 mins for GCSE intensive). Structure: recap, teach, practice, exam questions. Experience: Science TA working with Year 7-11, 1+ years private tutoring, A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry & Psychology, Enhanced DBS checked. For: Year 7-11 (Ages 11-16) - KS3 Science and GCSE Combined & Triple Science (AQA/Edexcel) - from Grade 3-4 confidence building to Grade 7-9 push. Plus A-Level Psychology (AQA) - specialist support for all papers, research methods, 16-mark evaluation, and achieving A star grades. Available Online.
