My teaching method is based on the individual I am teaching, their level and their musical interests. I am able to give lessons to beginner, intermediate and advanced students. I base the structure of my lessons off what the individual I am teaching wants to achieve - if they are a beginner who just wants to learn how to play songs I will focus on just teaching them the chords and lead lines they want to learn rather than theory and scales, if they are a more advanced student who wants to learn more about theory and technique I will focus on this. What I teach the student is down to what they want to learn and achieve.
I am a 20 year old guitarist with previous teaching and performing experience. I started learning guitar at 11 having been classically trained in French horn (grade 8), Piano (grade 8), and Tenortuba. It quickly became my favourite instrument and I started practising between 5-8 hours a day when I had the time. I completed my grade 8 at 14 and my Level 4 performance diploma with distinction at 16, at the time the youngest person to achieve this (and maybe to this date still, I'm not sure). I am the guitarist for Harrison Cole, who recently was a runner up with Unwritten Rule on X Factor The Band in 2019. I specialise in pop/blues/jazz and rock.
