About Jack
Hi, I’m Jack! I’m a qualified Modern Languages teacher with a PGCE in French and Spanish from Queen’s University Belfast, where I also completed my degree in French and Spanish.
I have taught languages to pupils of a wide range of ages and abilities and have experience living and working in both France and Spain. These experiences have given me a strong understanding not only of the languages themselves, but also of French and Spanish culture.
I’m passionate about languages and enjoy helping students become more confident in using French, whether they are studying towards an exam or learning for personal interest. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making progress.

My French lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether you are preparing for GCSE or A Level exams, looking to improve your conversational French, or simply learning the language for enjoyment.
I aim to make lessons engaging and practical, with a balance of speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. For exam students, lessons can focus on specific areas such as speaking preparation, written accuracy, exam technique and building confidence.
I am a qualified Modern Languages teacher with a PGCE in French and Spanish and a degree in French and Spanish from Queen’s University Belfast. I have experience teaching French at both KS3 and GCSE level, as well as experience teaching and working in France.
Lessons are typically 50–60 minutes and are suitable for secondary-school pupils, GCSE and A Level students, adults and anyone looking to develop their French.
