I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience across EYFS and KS1, and I currently work in a school setting. I have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and how to support children in building solid foundations in English and maths.
My teaching approach is calm, supportive and highly personalised. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding and then using clear explanations, modelling and guided practice to build confidence and secure key skills. I aim to make learning engaging and accessible, ensuring children feel successful and motivated.
Lessons typically last 30–60 minutes depending on the child’s age and attention span. Each session is structured but flexible, starting with a quick recap, followed by targeted teaching and practice, and ending with review and encouragement.
My tutoring is suitable for primary-aged children, particularly EYFS and KS1, whether they need support with early reading, phonics, writing, maths basics, or general confidence building. I adapt every lesson to the individual learner’s needs and pace.
