About Hannah Lucia

I am a qualified primary school teacher with a Bachelor of Education in Primary Education (SEND Specialist Pathway) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

I have taught in London primary schools and supported young people with a wide range of additional learning needs. My experience includes adapting lessons for different abilities, tracking pupil progress, preparing children for assessments and working closely with families to support their learning.

I am particularly passionate about helping children who may have lost confidence in their abilities or find traditional classroom learning challenging.

My teaching style is patient, positive and engaging. I believe that every child deserves to feel successful, and I love finding creative ways to make learning accessible, enjoyable and rewarding.

I look forward to helping your child grow in confidence and achieve their goals!

About the lesson

Build confidence, improve English skills and make learning enjoyable!

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher (QTS) with experience teaching across Key Stage 2, specialising in English, reading, spelling and SATs preparation.

I offer engaging, supportive and personalised online lessons designed to help children develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy learning.

My lessons can help with:

English: Grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, creative writing and comprehension.

Reading: Fluency, phonics where appropriate, vocabulary development and reading comprehension.

Spelling: Spelling patterns, strategies and improving accuracy.

SATs and test preparation: KS2 English SATs, exam techniques, practice questions and confidence-building.

SEND support: Adapted teaching for children with additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health needs.

Every child learns differently, so I tailor my teaching to their individual strengths, needs and goals. My lessons are interactive, encouraging and structured to help pupils make meaningful progress at their own pace.

Whether your child needs help catching up, extra challenge or simply a confidence boost, I aim to create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their achievements.
