About Krisha
I have been teaching in the primary setting for 10 years now and thoroughly enjoy supporting my students. I am calm, patient and have a good sense of humour. It is important that my students are at ease and that we build trust. Most importantly, I like my students to know that no question is a silly one and that making mistakes is a part of the learning process. I very much enjoy working as a team with my students so that we can achieve the best outcome in attainment and confidence growth.

With a PGCE in Education and 10 years of classroom experience, I provide personalised lessons to suit Years 2-6, supporting the child's individual needs, including pupils with anxiety and SEND. I have 5 years of experience teaching in Year 6, strengthening my pupils' Maths and English skills.
I combine clear explanations and explicit teaching with review, retrieval and purposeful practice, giving children the opportunity to think, explain their reasoning and apply this to their learning. I use clear modelling and scaffolding, chunking up tasks in manageable steps, gradually building independence. My aim is to develop both their academic skills and confidence.
Lessons typically last up to an hour at £40 per session, including the first lesson. I am happy to travel within 3 miles from Selsdon and charge £5 extra for anywhere further. I am happy to chat prior to the first session to ensure you are satisfied with the service I provide.
