About Thea
I am an experienced Singing tutor with 11 years of teaching and professional experience, working with students from school to college level. My goal is to help learners build strong vocal foundations, enhance stage presence, and gain confidence in performing. Throughout my career, I have trained students to improve vocal tone, pitch control, breath management, and overall performance skills.
Many of my students have achieved success in competitions and school events, marking meaningful milestones in their learning journey. My lessons are structured, interactive, and engaging, covering vocal exercises, rhythm training, breathing techniques, and expressive song interpretation. I provide personalised guidance and continuous encouragement to help students reach their full potential. My mission is to nurture confident, skilled, and expressive singers who enjoy the process of learning music.

My singing teaching philosophy centres on combining discipline with creativity to help students reach their full potential. I use flexibility to adapt lesson intensity and content according to each student’s vocal maturity and aspirations. Structured exercises improve breath support, tonal clarity, resonance, and articulation, while song practice enhances expression and storytelling.
Empathy allows me to connect with students who may feel hesitant or unsure about their abilities. Compassion ensures a patient and positive learning atmosphere. Through clear communication, I provide step-by-step guidance on diaphragmatic breathing, pitch accuracy, vocal control, and expressive interpretation.
Collaboration encourages students to take ownership of their progress through reflective discussions and performance preparation. Alongside Singing, I teach Music Theory basics, Ear Training development, Vocal Health practices, and Stage Performance skills.
