Every lesson of mine includes some vocabulary work, because it is easy to get lazy and not record the new words we hear and understand, but active vocabulary study is essential for continual growth. I encourage learners to do as many written grammar exercises as they can outside of the classroom, so that classroom time can be dedicated to valuable conversation practice. I help learners use technology to improve their memory and learn more quickly.
I have 4 years' experience as a teacher of languages with the prestigious British Council in Egypt, Qatar and Mexico. I studied Spanish at secondary school, during my first year at the University of Cambridge and again when I lived in Mexico City. I took the DELE official diploma of Spanish as a foreign language issued on behalf of the Spanish government at the C2 level in December 2019.

Jim is an excellent professional, he is a person who really loves teaching and who knows techniques to facilitate learning of each student, and also, you as a student feel that he really cares about the improvement of our skills, so that help to keep us motivated to study by ourselves, furthermore He uses his personal time to send us grammar documentation, news, vocabulary, games, and much more to practice at home; We knew that he prepared each class to take advantage of every minute of his teaching.
He is such a great teacher that we even write a letter to the coordinator asking for him to be our teacher again for the next course, now that I have a different teacher, I really appreciate having Jim as a teacher.
